Fully equipped with state-of-the art equipment, including Siemens Essenza 1.5T MR scanner, with best in class image quality, capable of performing all routine and special MR procedures including MR spectroscopy. Siemens Emotion multislice multidetector CT scanner , capable of routine and special CT procedures like CT angiography, multi-phase CT for liver lesions etc., also has special software to performs scans with lower amounts of radiation with special protocols for the pediatric population. Also has Siemens Acuson S2000 and X300, with routine and specialized probes for color Doppler, transvaginal sonography, small parts imaging and 4D sonography . Whole body DEXA bone densitometry for detection and quantification of osteoporosis, body mass analysis etc. Digital Mammography for detection andof breast cancer. Digital X-rays with IITV for routine and specialized X-ray procedures including erect whole body and whole limb X-rays. PACS with RIS for efficient intradepartment image transfer and efficient reporting.

Introduction

The department of radiology has been designed and equipped for patient comfort, accuracy of diagnosis, patient comfort, patient safety and efficient , accurate and optimal reporting of scans. The Department faculty is well qualified and available 24x7x365 for giving an accurate and timely diagnosis.
