Introduction
The department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology is an advanced tertiary level referral centre capable of handling all types of routine & complicated cases. The department conducts all types of gynaecological & Laparoscopic surgery for Infertility and minimally invasive procedures like laparoscopic Surgeries and Laparoscopic Hysterectomy. It is also well-equipped to handle surgery for cancers.
The services include fully equipped labour ward with round the clock facilities, high risk pregnancy assessment & management, prenatal diagnosis & counseling of patients with foetal abnormalities, obstetric ultrasound services, early pregnancy scan, gynaecology clinics for management of all menstrual problems, fibroid, infertility and cancer . All routine gynaecological surgeries viz. D & C, Sterilization, Hysterectomy, Surgery for Tumours & Cancer, Laparoscopic procedures Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, Laparoscopic Surgery for benign pelvic masses, for incontinence, laparoscopic sterilization.
