Brief Description:M.D, F.C.P.S, F.I.C.O.G, MSc (USA) finish his undergraduate studies in Medicine from the prestigious G S Medical college & KEM Hospital, Mumbai. His MBBS degree was graced with three distinctions. Alongside academics, Dr Pai was also a member of the National Social Service and had a passion to serve his community.
Dr. Pai went on to achieve an M.D. in Gynaecology from the University of Mumbai, and was awarded 2 gold medals for his academic success in examinations. He supplemented his expertise with a super-specialization in infertility. In 1989, he went on a Clenical Fellowship in Reproductive Biology to the Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne, where Australia’s first (and the world’s second) test tube baby was born. Mastering this technique in a year, he returned to Mumbai to set up his first IVF Centre in 1991. his first test tube baby was born in 1992, and in the years that followed he performed more than 10,000 test tube baby procedures and enriched the lives of hundreds of infertile couples with a high pregnancy rate.
