The One Stop Colorectal clinic is well equipped with technologically advanced equipments for conditions affecting the appendix, colon, rectum and anus and offers comprehensive specialist care for the complete range of colorectal disorders including colon cancer, hemorrhoids(piles), irritable bowel syndrome, diverticulosis/ diverticulitis, constipation, fecal incontinence, anal fissures, anorectal itching and diarrhea.
The clinic has introduced special investigation modalities like DEFECOGRAPHy, and manometry and treatment modalities like STARR for constipation & DG HAL for piles which are minimally invasive, painless and less incapacitating.
Introduction
Colorectal clinic is a one-stop service designed to accurately diagnose and treat all problems related to the appendix, colon, rectum and anus.
Colorectal services, traditionally are time consuming and not convenient to patient. Patient has to wait for long time for telescopic examination, radiology, and procedures which are carried out in different places and at different times.
In order to address this issue we set up ‘one-stop’ colorectal clinic. The colorectal clinic is the brainchild of expert laparoscopic & colorectal surgeon - Dr. Nitish Jhawar. Dr. Jhawar spearheads the colorectal department as its director.
