Malvinder Mohan Singh is the CEO & Managing Director of Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited (RLL), India's largest pharmaceutical company that also ranks among the top ten generic players in the world. With its current turnover close to $ 1.4 billion dollars, the company manufactures and markets branded and generic pharmaceuticals and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. It has a ground presence in 49 countries, manufacturing operations in 11 countries and products being sold in over 125 countries. The company’s focus on R&D has resulted in several approvals in developed markets and significant progress in New Drug Discovery Research. RLL’s foray into Novel Drug Delivery Systems has also led to proprietary "platform technologies" resulting in a number of products under development.
Malvinder joined Ranbaxy in 1998 and worked through various functions of General Management, Sales & Marketing, Finance and Business Development. Prior to being appointed as CEO and Managing Director, he was responsible for the company’s global operations, as President Pharmaceuticals.
Malvinder and his family are the largest shareholders in Ranbaxy, Fortis Healthcare Limited, Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre Limited and SRL Ranbaxy all synergistic ventures, promoted by his family. This gives the group the unique distinction of being counted as the largest health care player of India. Malvinder is also the Chairman of Religare Enterprises Limited which is India's leading integrated financial services provider.
He is the Chairman, CII National Committee on Technology.
Malvinder is a member of the Young Global Leaders Forum (YGL). The YGL group, an initiative of the World Economic Forum (WEF), works closely with the WEF to define and galvanize the Vision for the world in 2020. Malvinder is a member of the Duke University Board of Visitors and also serves on the board of the INSEAD Global India Council.
Malvinder earned his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, USA after graduating in Economics from the St Stephen’s College, New Delhi, India.

Mr. Shivinder Mohan Singh
Mr. Shivinder Mohan Singh, the younger son of Late Dr. Parvinder Singh, the moving force behind the success of Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited, is one of the principal promoters of Fortis Healthcare & SRL Ranbaxy.
His passion is to create world's best healthcare delivery companies based out of India, built on a foundation of strong value system and good work culture.
An alumnus of the Doon School and an Honours Graduate in Mathematics from St. Stephens College, Delhi, Mr. Singh is an MBA with specialization in health sector management from the Duke University Business School, USA.
Recently, he led the acquisition of Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre (EHIRC), the largest acquisition in the history of healthcare in India, to make Fortis Healthcare the second largest healthcare network in India and the biggest cardiac program in the world.
With this acquisition, Fortis Healthcare has 12 operating hospitals with over 1803 beds in its network and is working on creating a network of over 25 hospitals with 5000 plus beds.
Currently, he is the Managing Director of Fortis Healthcare Ltd and Managing Director of Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre (EHIRC).
Mr. Harpal Singh
Mr. Singh is Non-Executive Director of Fortis Healthcare Limited & Non-Executive Chairman of Ranbaxy.
He has had a diverse and wide-ranging experience of over 30 years in the Corporate Sector and has previously held senior positions in TATA's, Hindustan Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra and Shaw Wallace.
Mr. Singh is and has been involved with many premier Educational Institutions at the Board Level which include The Doon School, The Shriram School, The Scindia School (Gwalior), Yadavindra Public School (Patiala & Mohali) and is a Trustee of the Salwan Educational Trust (which manages 11 schools). He is also Chairman of The Salwan Public School and is a Member of the Senate of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Punjab.
From time to time, Mr. Singh has been a member of several Government Committees and is presently Member of the Punjab Chief Minister's Advisory Committee on Industrial Growth and Development of Relevant Infrastructure. He is also a Member of the CII National Committee on Healthcare and CII National Committee on Primary and Secondary Education and Vice Chairman of CII Punjab State Council.
Mr. Singh is a Member of the 8th India - UK Round Table and is an invitee speaker in many forums . Recently, he chaired the 3rd India Health Summit in New Delhi and was invited to speak at the Royal Institute of Great Britain on Integrating Global Healthcare.
He is an alumnus of The Doon School and is an (Hons.) Graduate in Economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi. He also has a B.S. in Economics and a Master's in Public Affairs from the California State University at Hayward (C.S.C.H.), California, U.S.A.
Justice S. S. Sodhi
Barrister at Law from Lincolns Inn (London) with a degree in Economics & B.A. (Hons), Punjab University, Justice S. S. Sodhi is a well known figure in the nation. He was chairperson of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India for three years (1997-June 2000).
Previous Career
1958-68 - Practicing Advocate at the High Court of Punjab & Haryana at Chandigarh for 10 years.
1968-82 - Appointed to the Punjab Superior Judicial Service in 1968. Held posts of Registrar (Research) at the Supreme Court of India, Legal Remembrancer to the Punjab Govt. and Registrar of the High Court of Punjab & Haryana.
1982-94 - Appointed as Judge of the High Court of Punjab & Haryana.
1994-95 - Chief Justice of High Court of Allahabad.
1995-96 - Appointed Lok Pal (Ombudsman) Punjab.

Mr. Gurcharan Das
Gurcharan Das is an author and a management consultant. He advises a number of companies on global corporate strategy. He was CEO, Procter & Gamble India from 1985 to 1992. Between 1989-1992, he was Vice President, P&G Far East and in 1992, he served as Vice President & Managing Director, Procter & Gamble Worldwide, responsible for strategic planning. Prior to P&G, he was Chairman and Managing Director of Richardson Hindustan Limited from 1981 to 1985, the company where he started as a trainee. In 1995, after a 30-year career in 6 countries, he took early retirement to become an author.
Gurcharan Das graduated with honors from Harvard University and later attended Harvard Business School (AMP), where he is featured in three case studies. He is on a number of boards, including Ranbaxy and Citibank. He is an operating advisor and investor in ChrysCapital, a venture capital fund for India's knowledge industries. He served on the juries of the McKinsey award for the best Harvard Review Article for 2005 and $500,000 Milton Friedman prize. He has served on several government boards, including the Foreign Investment Promotion Council.
He is the author of the international bestseller, India Unbound, which has been published in many countries and languages and filmed by the BBC. He writes a regular column for the Times of India and Dainik Bhaskar and occasional articles for the Wall Street Journal and other newspapers, which have been published as an anthology, The Elephant Paradigm by Penguin Books. Penguin has also published his novel, A Fine Family, which is being made into a film by Shyam Benegal. Oxford University Press has published his anthology, Three English Plays, consisting of Larins Sahib, a prize-winning play about the British in India, which has been produced in many cities and presented at the Edinburgh Festival. Mira, which was produced off-Broadway to critical acclaim from New York critics and has seen many productions around the world; and 9 Jakhoo Hill which has been a great success in major Indian cities.
Gurcharan Das has two children and he lives in New Delhi with his wife.

M.R.C.P from the Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom, Dr. P.S. Joshi is well known for the pioneering work he has been doing in the field of Cardiology. He has a number of publications and Research Projects to his credit and has served well-known institutions in India and abroad in various capacities.

Mr. Rajan Kashyap
A member of the Indian Administrative Service for 38 years, Mr. Rajan Kashyap, retired as Chief Secretary to the Government of Punjab in the year 2003. As Principal Secretary to the Government, he initiated innovative programmes in the state of Punjab in diverse fields, especially Science & Technology, Public Finance, Healthcare & Environment and Local Government & Urban Development. While serving as Managing Director (1979-82), he professionalised the management of Punjab MARKFED. During his various appointments with the Punjab Government, he promoted the adoption of various forms of public - private partnership to accelerate the process of economic development. Mr. Kashyap also served in the Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Mr. Kashyap has an outstanding academic background, holding first position in the M.A. English examination in Punjab University, Chandigarh (1963) and a Degree in Master of Philosophy in Development Economics from the University of Cambridge (U.K.) (1979). Prior to joining the IAS he taught English in the Punjab University, Chandigarh. Mr. Kashyap is the Honorary Chairman, Managing Committee, Rotary & Blood Bank Society Resource Centre, a non-government body providing safe blood to hospitals and medical institutions. He is also the Honorary Chairman, Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association, a sports organisation for the development of tennis in the country.
Dr. Tidu Maini
Tidu Maini, BSc, ACGI, DIC, PhD
Pro Rector of Imperial College London, Dr. Maini is responsible for Technology Transfer, Consulting Services, Strategic Business Alliances, Development and Alumni affairs. He is a member of the College's Management Board and sits on a number of other College academic and business committees. Dr. Maini has more than 30 years of experience in managing technology companies across Europe, the United States, Asia and the Middle East. Prior to joining Imperial College, he was Senior Vice President of Schlumberger Inc, Main Board Member of Sema Group plc, Deputy Chairman GEC Marconi and Managing Director of GEC Software Systems
In addition to his role as Pro Rector of Imperial College, Dr. Maini is also advisor to the Mubadala Development Company, United Arab Emirates, and holds non-executive Board positions at Ranbaxy Fortis Healthcare Ltd India, Imperial Innovations, Ltd., and Inforsense Ltd. Dr Maini is a member of the International Advisory Board of Thorium Power in the US. He is also a Board Member of the Emirates Foundation chaired by His Highness the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the London 2012 Olympic Technology Board. Dr. Maini's other board memberships include the Joint Advisory Board of Texas A & M Qatar University, the India-U.K. Roundtable and the Advisory Board of CSC Europe. He has a PhD and BSc in Engineering from Imperial College and was a Post Doctoral Fellow of the University of California Berkeley.

Mr. V. M. Bhutani
Mr. V. M. Bhutani is Chartered Accountant, graduated in commerce. Currently he is Advisor Taxation, Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited.
He is Director on Board of various Companies including Central Bank of India and Ranbaxy group Companies.

Mr. Ramesh L. Adige
Having work experience of over 29 years, with expertise in the field of Marketing, Public Policy and Public Affairs, Mr. Ramesh Adige, spearheads the Corporate Affairs team at Ranbaxy.
He joined Ranbaxy in Feb. 2004 and provides extensive value in the area of Corporate Policy, strategic and perspective planning and external relations. In addition, he is steering the corporate communications function to leverage corporate brand building for Ranbaxy in international markets, including various Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives adopted by the Company.
He represents Ranbaxy, in the Executive Committee of the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance, the pharma industry body. He is also an active participant in CII (Confederation of Indian Industry), FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) and Premier Industry Chambers of India.
He is an alumnus of the prestigious technology institute, BITS (Pilani) and postgraduate from the Faculty of Management Studies (University of Delhi).
Other Work Experience

He has served as an eminent member of various boards and a committee related to the automobile industry and is a member of the Development Council for Automobile & Allied Industries of the Government of India.
He was also President of the Governing Council of The Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), Pune, India, Asia's leading validation, certification and homologation agency for the automobile industry.
Mr. Adige was also the Executive Committee Member of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) of India.

Lt. Gen. T. S Shergill
Lt Gen T Shergill PVSM, was born at Lahore on 30 September 1943. He received his early education at The Lawrence School, Sanawar, and early military education at The National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, where he was awarded the President's Gold Medal, for standing First in the Order of Merit. During his military career spanning forty years, the General has fought in two wars and commanded a Division and Corps in counter insurgency operations. He has been decorated for gallantry, and for the highest award of distinguished service. He has two Master's Degrees-from the University of Madras and The United States Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, USA. He has also, spent many years on teaching assignments and as a diplomat. On retiring from the Army, the General was appointed Chairman of the Punjab Public Service Commission, where he served till 30 September 2005. He is an author and well-known public speaker and has lectured in USA, Europe and India. He has been a keen sportsman having played polo and cycle polo for India, and golf for the Services.
He is currently Member of the Board of Fortis Healthcare Ltd, Member of the Board of Governors of the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Director Centre of Leadership Excellence of the Indian School of Petroleum and Member of the Board of SBL Industries Private Limited.
