His Post Graduation training in Interventional Cardiology was obtained in Australia under the aegis of the Australian Post Graduate Federation of Medicine in 1983-84. During his long and distinguished career as a Clinician, Researcher and Teacher, Dr. Kaul has held several coveted responsibilities. He has been on the faculty of G.B Pant Hospital, New Delhi, PGIMER, Chandigarh and was Professor of Cardiology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and revered as the best doctors available in India. He joins Fortis Healthcare after a very successful innings at Batra Hospital, New Delhi where he held the post of Director, Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology.

Dr. Bala Krishnan
 Director- Cardiac Science
Professor and Head of Cardio vascular surgery, graduated in 1976 from JIPMER, Pondicherry. He subsequently trained in General Surgery at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi and in Cardiovascular Surgery at the KEM hospital in Bombay.
He then had advanced training in cardiovascular surgery, with special emphasis on congenital heart repairs at the Green lane hospital in Auckland, New Zealand, under Sir Brian Barratt-Boyes.
Later he worked with Dr. Albert Starr, in Portland, Oregon at the Oregon Health Services University and designed a new model of a prosthetic heart valve.
He subsequently, returned to India and headed the Cardiovascular surgery services at the Railway Headquarters hospital, Madras before moving Sri Ramachandra Hospital in September 1994 to start a new cardiovascular program.
Today he is an authority in a spectrum of surgical corrections ranging from Complex Intracardiac repairs to off pump coronary revascularizations. Few can compare to his skill in conduit surgeries and switch procedures.
In addition to cardiac surgery Dr. Balakrishnan has a keen interest in the use of computer applications in patient management protocols and in the use of the internet for the exchange of professional information.
Dr. Balakrishnan has also been involved in a lot of research activities, which include the dynamic analysis of the aortic valve using a finite element model. He is currently focusing on myocardial cell culture techniques to treat patients with heart failure and endothelial cultures for creating arterial blood vessels. |

 Dr. R. K. Mani is the Director, Dept. of Pulmonology, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine at Fortis Healthcare flt. Lt. Rajan Dhall Hospital.
