New Delhi (UNI): Escorts posted a net profit of Rs. 30.7 crore for the fourth quarter ended September 30, 2006, as against Rs. 165.30 crore for the corresponding period last year. The total income stood at Rs. 626.65 crore for the quarter, where as the same was at Rs.681.26 crore for the same quarter a year ago. The group has reported a loss after tax of Rs. 46.58 crore for the year ended September 30, 2006 where as, there was a profit after tax of Rs. 120.61 crore for the year ended September 30, 2005.
