Fortis Hospital offers 5-test package for kidney’s wellness

The hospital offers discounts to kidney surgery, USG, KUB screening, Micro albumin tests

NOIDA, March 13, 2008: Fortis Hsopital, Noida, is celebrating World Kidney Day during March 10-25, offering a package of five intensive tests to give you all relevant critical information about your kidney. The combination of these tests – which normally costs Rs 4500/- – is now being offered at only Rs 500.

The hospital also organized a public awareness talk by eminent kidney specialists such as Dr Vijay Kher and Dr Manoj Kumar Singhal to commemorate the occasion. The doctors explained how kidneys help in purifying our blood and remove excess water. They also gave details on how kidneys help control Blood Pressure, produce red blood cells and keep bones healthy. The doctors also stressed on how the risk of death from heart disease is 100 times greater if one has kidney disease.
