She completed her MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and is a Topiwala National Medical College postgraduate alumnus and BYL Nair Charitable Hospital Mumbai. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists U.K. She also holds a Fellowship and Diploma in minimal access surgery from World Laparoscopy Hospital.
