Dr Sanjeev Mahajan is the director of Orthopaedics, Joint Replacement and Arthroscopic Surgery at Fortis Hospital Ludhiana. He is an internationally recognized academician, educator and surgeon with more than wo decades of experience in the areas of joint replacement, arthroscopy and trauma. Dr. Mahajan has received his doctorate in Orthopaedics from Punjab University, Chandigarh and was trained at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana. He has been extensively trained in techniques of joint replacement sport injuries and ligament reconstruction at USA Europe and Australia. He did fellowship in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine at Milan Italy and fellowship in Shoulder surgery and joint replacement services St George Hospital Sydney NSW. He has mentored numerous graduate students orthopaedics resident and follow while he was serving as faculty at DMC&H. He has been doing complex, primary and revision joint replacement for more than a two decade and he has done around 20000 joints including International patients from Canada, USA, Australia and many European countries. He has been selected as International faculty in various conferences. Dr. Mahajan is an active member of many professional associations and research bodies of international repute. Dr. Mahajan has received many prestigious honour and awards for recognition of his outstanding Orthopaedic treatment modalities.
