Mr. Krish Ramesh

Mr. Krish Ramesh graduated with a B Sc Maths from Madras University and holds professional qualifications of C.A.I.I.B from the Indian Institute of Bankers and ICWA from the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India.

He has worked in various industries and has around 25 years of rich and varied experience. He has worked with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited for 6 years and had exposure in key areas such as Costing and Finance.

Thereafter, Mr. Krish joined Hindustan Lever Limited and has worked for 15 years in different locations and handled the financial and commercial functions in Factories, Branches and profit centre.

His last employment was with HT Media Limited, publishers of Hindustan Times, Mint, Hindustan, Fever FM etc. and heading their Corporate Accounts, Project head for SAP implementation and was also the Chief Financial Officer for Mint vertical in HTML.

Mr. Krish appointed as a Whole Time Director of the Company w.e.f 30th April, 2008 in the meeting of Board of Directors.



Mr. Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu

Mr. Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu, an MBA from Philadelphia University, USA, is the Wholetime Director of Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd., Coimbatore. Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd is one of the three leading Textile Machinery Manufacturers in the world, manufacturing the complete range textile spinning machinery.

He is the Chairman of the India-ITME Exhibition Society, Mumbai and is a Member of the Southern Regional Council of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He is a Member of the Development Council for Textile Machinery Industry constituted by the Govt. of India. He is a Trustee of the G.Kuppuswamy Naidu Charity Trust, which runs a multi-speciality 600 bedded hospital and a Hr Secondary School in Coimbatore and an Arts College in Kovilpatti, Tamil Nadu. He is the Chairman of the Coimbatore Masonic Charity Trust, which runs a Children’s Hospital and a Working Women’s Hostel. He is a Trustee of GKD Charity Trust, which runs a Management Study College (DJ Academy for Managerial Excellence & DJ Academy of Design) and an Industrial Training Institute (GKD Institute for Technological Resources). He is a member of the Council of Administration of SITRA. He is also a Member of the Board of Governors of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Textile Management, Coimbatore.

An active supporter of Sports, he is the Vice President of the Tamil Nadu Shooting Association, Chennai and the Hon Secretary of the Rifle Club, Coimbatore. He is the President of Chennai Equestrian Academy, Chennai. His interests are also in Golf and Horse Riding.



Mr. Ramesh L. Adige

Mr. Ramesh L. Adige, a Non-Executive, Independent Director, graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree from BITS, Pilani and has a post graduate degree from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. Mr. Adige is the President of RLL and spearheads the corporate affairs and global corporate communication functions. He is also responsible for corporate social responsibility, environment, health and safety at RLL. He has 33 years of experience in the areas of corporate policy, public affairs and public policy, strategic and perspective planning, external relations and the broader spectrum of business activities including joint ventures, technical and financial collaborations. He is RLL’s representative in various pharma bodies and a participant in the CII and FICCI and heads the CII’s Task Force on IP Policy. He was with Fiat India Limited as a whole-time director (corporate affairs) and has been the President of the Governing Council of the Automotive Research Association of India.



Mr. P. Murari

Mr. P. Murari, a Non-Executive, Independent Director, M.A. (Economics) 1954, from Madras University and had passed State Civil Services in1955 and Indian Administrative Services in 1957 and retired as Secretary to the President of India in August, 1992. He is specialized in the areas of General Industrial Administration, formulation of industrial policies, administration of public and cooperative sector industrial undertakings including sick units, health and family planning sector management, energy sector, financial administration and food processing. During his illustrious career as a civil servant, he has held many distinguished positions including: Sub-divisional and District Magistrate, Sub-Collector, Deputy Director of Census Operations. Chairman/Managing Director/Director in State undertakings of Government of Tamil Nadu. . Health Secretary, Commissioner for Commercial Taxes, Gov of Tamil Nadu. . Additional Secretary to GOI, Ministry of Industry. Secretary to GOI, Cabinet Secretariat, Implementation Committee for Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Centenary. Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, GOI. Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, GOI. He has undertaken many special projects for Government of India and has chaired numerous high level commissions & committees. He has served on the Boards/ Councils of several reputed institutions and professional bodies. He has represented India in Asian Productivity Council. He has a number of important publications to his credit.



Dr. Nithya Ramamurthy

Dr. Nithya Ramamurthy is a qualified Medical professional having more than 25 years of rich experience in medicine. She has been closely associated with the company right from the inception of the hospital project as one of the Chief Promoters of the company.

After the untimely demise of her husband Dr. Ramamurthy, the founder promoter of the company in 2004, Dr. Nithya Ramamurthy took charge of the affairs of the company and is successfully managing the company. Under her stewardship the company was able to promote the hospital as a trusted destination for quality medical care in the city.

Owing to her dedicated endeavours and futuristic vision, Malar Hospitals today is reckoned as one of the few multi-specialty hospitals in the city. Her continued association with the hospital is necessity for the betterment of the company. She is the member of the Shareholders’/ Investors’ Grievance Committee of Malar Hospitals Ltd.
