Nutrition Week Celebration
Fortis La Femme celebrated “National Nutrition Week” from 1st – 7th September, 09.
1st September
 We have organized healthy cooking competition for the FLF employees on the theme “Healthy Tiffin”. Event judged by Ms. Gurrit Kaur (Facility Director), Dr. Meenakshi Ahuja (Sr. Consultant Obstetrician. & Gynaecology), Dr. Tripat Chaudhary (Sr. Consultant Obs. & Gynae) and Dr. Raghuram Malliah (HOD, Neonatology). The criteria for judgement were taste, appearance, presentation and nutritive value. 1st prize winners were from Radiology Department, 2nd prize was won by Housekeeping department and the 3rd prize was awarded to the patient welfare department.
On 2nd September, Complementary Dish (Pasta corn bean salad) was served for all the visitors in the Cafeteria.
On 3rd September Health Talk and Quiz was organized for the students of Delhi Public School, East of Kailash. Ms. Deepali Khanna (Clinical Nutritionist) was the speaker for the day.
Lastly, on 7th September, cooking contest for the members of Lioness Club was organized. The themes for the contest were “Left Over Bonanza” &”Traditional Sweets”. 20 ladies from the club participated in the contest and prepared creative snacks from the leftovers and also mouthwatering traditional sweets.
Also special dish served for FLF employees on all days of Nutrition week

Dental Camp
 Dental Camp was organized for the kids of MMI preschool, GK-II. Dr. Ruchira Prasad
(Sr. Consultant – Dental) and Dr. Kunal Gupta (Pedodontist) participated in the activity.

Launch of Working Women’s Pregnancy Guide Book
 In association with Times of India, Working Women’s Pregnancy Guide Book was launched on 8th Sept, 09. The chief guests for the event were Ms. Feroze Gujral (Model) and Ms. Madhulita Mohanty (Chief Editor, TOI).

Information Mela, Hyatt Regency
 Fortis La Femme participated in the Information Mela for Expats organized at Hyatt Regency on 15th September, 09. The event was attended by more than 500 people. We were the only healthcare providers present at the event.

Monthly CME
 Monthly CME was organized for empanelled & visiting consultant on the topic “Modern Dilemma in Child birth” by Ms. Nutan Pandit (Birthing Instructor).

CME on Peri – Menopausal problems
 Fortis La Femme in association with South Delhi Gynae Forum and Baby Cell (stem cell company), had organized an Outhouse CME for all the Empanelled and Visiting doctors. The CME was organized at ITC Sheraton hotel, New Delhi. The event was attended by approximately 100 doctors from Delhi & NCR. The topic for the CME was “Peri – Menopausal Problems – An Update”. There were three sessions in the CME covering various topics like Osteoporosis, Menopause and Urinary Incontinence in
Women. The speakers for the session were Dr. Anita Sabharwal (Secretary, South Delhi Gynae Forum), Dr. Tripat Choudhary (Sr. Consultant Obstetrics & Gynaecologist) and Dr. Ranjana Sharma (Sr. Consultant Obstetrics & Gynaecologist).

Health Talk at Siemens Powers
 Health Talk was organized on “Swine Flu” for the employees of Siemens Power, Gurgaon. The speaker for the talk was Dr. K M Singh. Dr. Singh shared valuable information related to the topic and also cleared various myths about the same.

Dental Camp
 One more Dental Camp for the kids was organized at Saksham preschool, R K Puram, New Delhi. Doctors involved in the camp were Dr. Ruchira Prasad (Sr. Consultant – Dental) and Dr. Kunal Gupta (Pedodontist). Doctors advised to the parents on brushing habits etc.
22nd September, 09
Internal CME
 Another Internal CME was organized on 22nd September, 09 in association with German Medicine. The topic for the event was “MIRENA Levonorgestrel Intrauterine System” and the speaker for the day was Dr. Sonia Malik (Sr. Consultant Obstetrics & Gynaecologist). The CME was attended by all the key doctors. Again the session was a very successful and informative for all the participants.

Health Talk at Maytri College
Health Talk was organized for the teachers of Maytri College, on 30th September, 09. The topic for the talk was “Peri-menopausal and post menopausal problems” and the speaker was Dr. Anuradha Vashisth (Sr. Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist). The talk was attended by more than 35 teachers. It was a very interactive & informative session. |
Fortis La Femme organized a basic health screening camp along with an information outlet at the Diwali Mela of GK-II RWA from 13th – 15th October, 09. 
The internal monthly CME was organized on 20th October, 09 for our Empanelled and Visiting doctors. The speaker was Dr. (Col.) C. S. Pant, Sr. Consultant Radiology, Fortis La Femme
Fortis La Femme provided medical support to Japanese school for their trip to Jaipur. It was a three day trip from 21st to 23rd of October, 09 and Dr. Ruchi Kapur from Fortis La Femme accompanied them in their trip to provide first aid attention to the children.

Health check-up camp was organized for the customers of ICICI Bank at Ashok Vihar on 23rd October, 09. There was a participation of approximately 85 people.
With an endeavor to spread awareness about Breast cancer, a Breast Cancer awareness campaign was organized by Fortis La Femme at Select Citywalk, Saket from 24-10-09 to 26-10-09. The three day campaign comprised of the following:
Dr Tripat Chaudhary delivered talk on Menopause at GK-I enclave on 31st of October, 09. It was an interactive session under which health issues related to the ladies were addressed by the doctor. Information brochures related to menopause were also distributed to the audience. There were approximately 30 participants and the talk was highly appreciated by all.
