General Information    
  • Patients are requested to go through the In-patient room guidelines provided in every room.
  • We encourage mothers to keep well babies in their rooms with them, to promote mother child bonding. There is no extra charge for the newborn’s cradle in the mother’s room. If special care is required for the baby, the Neonatologist will advise the parents accordingly for admission in NICU.
  • Visiting Hours for the patients:
    • Birth is a celebration and visitors are permitted in the patient’s room at her convenience.
    • Mothers are advised that no more than 3 (three) visitors at a time should be visiting within the hospital for a single patient. Only one attendant per patient is permitted in the LDR/OT/NICU floor (third floor). Only One Attendant per patient may remain overnight. This is for the health and safety of patients. A pass will be issued on admission.
  • Flowers and food from outside the hospital are not permitted in the rooms. This is part of our hospital infection control policy.
  • Fortis La Femme Cafeteria offers tasty, healthy meals and snacks. Patient’s attendants and visitors are encouraged to use this facility. Room service menu is available in the Inpatient Room Booklet in every room
  • Mothers are advised to bring nappies and clothing of their choice for the baby, along with their own personal toiletries. While the hospital provides a toilet kit and pre and post surgical gowns, many mothers may prefer to use their own clothing.
  • If you are interested in cord blood collection, please ask for information at the front desk.
  • The discharge time is 12 noon. There is no fixed time of admission in the hospital. The room rates therefore shall vary along with the time of admission
            upto 6 hrs-1/3rd /0.33)of the room charges
            upto 12 hours ( ½ /0.5)of the room charges
            After –12 hrs full room charges.(1 day)
  • The billing for the post 12 noon discharges, shall be billed as per the above mentioned criterion
  • For admission between 8am to 12 noon the billing will be done from 12 noon to 12 noon in case of maternity patients.
  • All bills to be cleared in cash/credit card only. Cheques will not be accepted.
 
 

Special Information Regarding Medical Insurance

  • Patients should confirm with their insurance company / TPA that they have coverage for the treatment required. In case coverage is employer sponsored / reimbursed, please contact the HR department of the company for room category eligibility etc.
  • A pre authorization form available at Front Desk is to be filled in and signed by both patient & doctor, at least 5 working days prior to admission.
  • For maternity benefits, pre authorization is required 4 weeks ahead of the due date.
  • Photocopy of the TPA photo ID will be required for availing “cashless” facility.
  • Patients availing of the “cashless” facility are advised to make an advance booking. The amount of advance is refundable against bills on discharge.
  • In case of Corporate policies patients are requested toe send us an email. or letter from your Corporate mentioning the following. This should be sent along with pre-authorization form at least 4 weeks in advance.
    • Name of the patient
    • Employee code in case of Corporate Policy
    • Policy no- and Name of the Insurance Company
    • Name of TPA & ID card no
    • Extend of Coverage on Maternity
    • Whether or not the Baby is covered from day one . Whether this coverage is within
    • Maternity cover or covered separately from day one.
    • Does your policy have restrictions on room rent, doctor charges etc.
  • Prompt and accurate information shall help the hospital in timely speedy facilitation with the TPA.
 
 

Special information on the procedure followed for the corporate patients incase of hospitalization.

  • Patients should confirm with their company that they have coverage for the treatment required. In case coverage is employer sponsored / reimbursed, please contact the HR department of the company for room category eligibility etc.
  • For Pre-Planned Hospitalization: The employees of the empanelled corporate shall be admitted and treated by the Hospital without payment of cash deposit, on the presentation of their identification proof along with the Letter of Guarantee from their organization.
    • Letter Of Guarantee should be sent at least 5 working days prior to admission.
    • For maternity benefits, Letter of Credit is required 4 weeks ahead of the due Date.
  • Emergency Admission: In the event of patient requiring emergency hospitalization the ID card from the company should be presented at the time of admission. This should be followed by the Letter of Guarantee to be sent from Corporate within 24 hrs from the time of admission.
  • The Letter of Guarantee should clearly mention the credit limit covered, medical services and the entitlement towards the room category/bed charges any other inclusion and exclusion as per the terms agreed by Sunrise Medicare Pvt. Ltd. and the Corporate, of the person being admitted.
    • Name of the patient
    • Employee code in case of Corporate Policy
    • Extend of Coverage on Maternity or any other surgery
    • Whether or not the Baby is covered from day one. Whether this coverage is within maternity cover or covered separately from day one.
    • Does your policy have restrictions on room rent, doctor charges, attendant food charges, non medical expenses etc.
    • What are the ailments of diseases, procedures not covered by your organization
    • Prompt and accurate information shall help the hospital in timely speedy facilitation with your company
  • The patients will require adhering to the general rules and regulations of the hospitals. The information on the hospital is enclosed herewith as per Annexure -2 .1 comprising the General Information about the Hospital.
