What should I expect?
Should you decide to have a medical procedure performed in a Fortis Healthcare facility,
you can expect the following events to take place:

You should solicit information or get a quote for medical services.

You will receive a response within 72 hours from our patient care
liaison/coordinator.

Meet and greet at the airport.
-
Ground transport in an AC private car/limo to your selected accommodation for
your attendant or directly to the Fortis Healthcare facility.

Assistance with check-in, upon arrival, for your attendant.

Transfer to the Fortis Healthcare facility for registration, guided tour and consultation
with your physician and nursing staff.

Any preparations will be made in advance for special meal requirements, blood
collection or religious provisions.

Check-in to your room at the Fortis Healthcare facility of your choice.
When will I meet my doctor?
You will meet your doctor on the day of arrival, or possibly in advance of your
trip to India. Fortis Healthcare offers video conference tele-consultations to patients
who are trying to decide on services.
How do I know my doctor is qualified?
Fortis Healthcare attracts the highest regarded physicians from inside the country and
overseas. All physicians are screened for qualification and educational
backgrounds from the WHO internationally recognized medical centers and
institutes. Many of our physicians have trained in countries outside of India,
such as the US, UK, Australia and countries in Europe. A biography of your
physician is available on our website under the physician directory.
Additionally, your physician can discuss his/her educational background prior
to your consultation or procedure.
From where will the blood used come?
The blood is provided by our own blood bank. We follow international standards
and before preserving, the blood, goes through multiple tests to remove any
possibility of pathogens into it.
Do I need any vaccinations to travel to India?
Vaccinations and up-to-date immunizations are a must for international travel.
