 Dr. Manuj Wadhwa was born on 12th January 1973 at Amritsar. He did his schooling from St. Francis School, Amritsar & his College from DAV College, Amritsar. He did his graduation from University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi, post graduation in Orthopaedics from Govt. Medical College, Amritsar & his MCh. (Ortho) from University of Dundee, U.K. He has performed more than 300 Joint Replacement Surgeries in Amritsar in last four years and has been covered by international Channels including BBC, & Doordarshan.
He is the First & only MCH (Ortho) in the region. He pioneered the concept of Mobile Bearing Knees in north India. He was the 1st one to perform rotating platform Knee in the year 2002. He was the 1st one to do Uni-compartmental Knee Surgery in the region in the year 2003. He is the 1st one to perform High Flex Rotating Platform Knee in the north region in September 2005. He has also done the 1st Revision TC-3 Knee replacement of North India. He does almost all types of Joint replacements.
He had been selected for "Contemporary World Who's Who 2002 -2003." Awarded "Man of the Year 2003" by American Biographical Institute, USA Awarded the Premier "RASHTRIYA RATTAN AWARD" for the Year 2003. Awarded prestigious "RAJIV GANDHI SHIROMANI AWARD" for the year 2004. He is also been selected for the prestigious "RANAWAT JOINT RECONSTRUCTION FELLOWSHIP" in New York, U.S.A. for 2006.
He got his Super speciality Training in Joint Replacement at DUNDEE UNIVERSITY U.K., AIIMS, Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai & Other Leading Hospitals in India & Abroad. |
