The hospital conducts an outreach program, OPD clinic, fortnightly, at a private hospital named Hakim Sanaullah Hospital and Cancer centre at Sopore, district Baramulla. Doctors from KMI provide their services to the poor people of the area. These outreach clinics are shortly being started at Budgam, Baramulla and other places within the valley.

KMI conducted a free medical camp at PHE, Aishmuqam, district Islamabad which is around 80 kms away from Srinagar. The population is mainly of Gujjars who are very poor. Around 300 patients turned up for the camp. Free medicines were distributed among them.

KMI also supports the Red Cross in holding Medical camps by providing its staff and equipment. Till now KMI has supported the Red Cross in 3 medical camps held in remote village of district Baramulla called Sumbal, Sumlar and another in the interiors of Qamarwari area in Srinagar city.
