In January 2006, Khyber Medical Institute (KMI) signed a decade long operations and management contract with Ranbaxy promoted Company, Fortis Healthcare Limited (FHL). Under this agreement FHL will professionally manage the hospital.

HISTORY OF KHYBER MEDICAL INSTITUTE (KMI)

Khyber Medical Institute (KMI) was established in 2002 as a super-specialty cardiac hospital in the valley by the Khyber Group of Industries.

KMI is now converted into a Multi-Specialty Hospital. KMI attracts a significant number of patients from all over the valley. The institute has various specialty departments which are equipped with state of the art facilities and manned by trained and dedicated staff.
