The department has advanced heart command centre with latest monitoring system which provides comprehensive invasive and non invasive services by highly trained and skilled medical and para-medical staff It has a new top of the line flat panel cath lab from Philips.
The cardiac operation theatre is equipped for cardiac bypass and off pump beating heart surgery. It is supported by exclusive cardiac surgical recovery unit manned by Intensivists and highly proficient nurses and technicians.
The wide bandwidth of cardiac procedures will include techniques from non-invasive to invasive procedures like Angiography, Angioplasty, Carotid /Renal and other stenting procedures, Pacemaker and ICD implantation, Electro Physiology & Radio-frequency Ablation, Balloon Mitral Valvuloplasty, and so on. The team of experts is competent to perform complex pediatric cardiac procedures.
Moreover, this world class treatment for cardiac ailments is available at just one tenth of the cost in the western world; and more importantly people of Rajasthan will not require to travel to Delhi, Mumbai or Ahmedabad.
At a later stage, it is envisaged to establish an “Acute Heart Attack Centre” with dedicated round the clock staff of doctors, nurses and technicians to treat the patients of heart attack during the golden hour period including Primary Angioplasty, whenever required.
