ICU
The Jessa Ram Hospital has a ten bedded centrally air-conditioned ICU. It is equipped with bedside multiparameter modular monitors capable of continuous non-invasive as well as invasive monitoring of patient's vital signs. The monitors are linked to a central monitor at the nursing station. The ICU is equipped with five state-of-the-art (Siemens) mechanical ventilators and a non-invasive bilevel ventilator. Besides this the ICU has Defibrillator with the capability of external transcutaneous pacing. An arterial Blood Gas machine, syringe pumps, ECG machine, Glucometer, nebulizer are some of the other equipment.
Round the clock services of SRL Ranbaxy Laboratories and the Radiology Department (including CT scan and bedside Ultrasound and X-rays) are available for diagnostic work. Bedside Echocardiography, Bronchoscopy and Endoscopy are also available.
- The ICU is lead by a full time Senior Consultant Intensivist. There is a round-the-clock cover by a dedicated team of experienced Junior Consultants and Senior Residents. The ICU also has a team of specialists (Medicine, Surgery, Gynaecologists and Pediatricians) and super specialists (Cardiology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Nephrology, Gastroenterology), consultants and senior consultants.
- The nursing staffs are lead by a dedicated Nurse In-charge who supervises a team of nurses with extensive ICU experience.
- A team of physiotherapists provide specialized bedside services.
- Nutritional issues are addressed in closed liaison with a Dietician.
Critical Care (ICU)
The key critical care facility is the upgraded 10 bed ICU & CCU, equipped with digital bedside monitoring systems and several ventilators for handling simultaneous emergencies. Ensuring the highest quality of post-operative care is a team of skilled professionals headed by an 'Intensivist' who is an expert in critical care. The Intensivist and anesthetist are present around-the-clock. Facilities for bedside Dialysis, Echocardiography, Ultrasound, Bronchoscopy, Endoscopy, etc. available.
Emergency/Trauma Services
Jessa Ram is especially competent to handle all emergencies including road accidents. Our 24 Hour Emergency Services comprises of fully equipped Triage, Minor OT and observation facilities with well trained and experienced CMO's headed by an 'ER-Incharge' along with a backup team of Neuro, Ortho and Plastic Surgeons.
