Ophthalmology is the branch of medicine which deals with the diseases and surgery of the visual pathways, including the eye, brain, and areas surrounding the eye, such as the lacrimal system and eyelids. The Department of Ophthalmology has provided a well-equipped facility for the complete examination, diagnosis and treatment of all ocular diseases in both adult and paediatric patients.
The department is comprised of a dedicated and well-qualified team of health care professionals comprising three senior specialists, Optometrists, administrative support staff and other nursing. Optimal care is provided in a timely and friendly manner. The Ophthalmology Department believes in all aspects of patient testing and care as well as comprehensive communication with referring physicians.
