Admission Process
The hospital has different types of rooms to suit your requirement and provide maximum comfort during your stay with us. Kindly enquire about various rooms and tariffs from our counselors at the IPD.
Our counselor at the IPD will assist you in making a choice of room available in the hospital, services available and treatment packages.
If you are an ECHS member with health insurance coverage or a corporate client kindly inform our front office assistants to make the necessary credit arrangements.
You will be required to furnish information for admission and registration on the basis of which the IPD front office will generate an IPID for you and carry out other registration formalities. You will be entitled to two visitor's passes.
The front office assistant will accept the requisite deposits against your IPID. The accepted modes of payments are Cash, Credit & Debit Cards, Demand Drafts and Bank Transfer.
Emergency admissions are made through the Emergency Room (ER), which functions 24x7.
Your consultant will explain to you in detail the nature of illness and the treatment planned. Carefully read the admission and consent forms and then sign them. We are always available to you in case you need any assistance .
Billing
For inpatient treatment, you are required to pay a deposit as per your room category and the treatment you seek. You will be requested to pay the second installment when expenditure is about to exceed the initial payment. To check your daily billing status, you are requested to contact the counselor at the IPD Reception.
The deposit is waived if direct billing is arranged between your employer or insurance company and the hospital, provided the employer or insurance company has authorized the treatment.
All major credit cards are accepted.
For any billing query, please call the IPD Reception at extension 6400.
Discharge Process
Any refund up to Rs.10,000/- is given in cash provided all deposits were made in cash.
Any amount above Rs.10,000/- will be refunded only by cheque.
All refunds are available on the same day. In the event of discharge on Sunday or holidays you can collect the
refunds on the next working day.
The rates of service centres (Path Lab, X-ray, ECG etc) are uniform irrespective of the class of room.
On settlement of your bills the front office assistant will give you a discharge clearance slip, which needs to be shown at the nursing station.
All reports and documents related to patient can be collected from the nursing station at the time of
leaving the ward.
Payments
Payments can be made:

Do's and Don't's
Do's:
Only one attendant is allowed to visit the patient in the ward, single and double rooms, other than visiting hours.
Exchange your passes, which are issued to you at the time of admission on transfer of patient from one location of the hospital to another.
Visit the IPD reception once a day to review your bill and deposit the required amount.
Don't's
Don't bring any eatables into the hospital from outside.
Don't bring children below the age of 12 years.
Don't smoke inside the hospital premises.
Don't consume alcohol of any other type of intoxicating substance.
Don't bring valuable items to the hospital.
Any jewellery that the patient is wearing must be removed at the time of admission and patient should not keep any valuables on their person at the time of admission.
Don't use candles, dhoop, incense sticks, lighters or matchboxes in the premises, as our hospital is a smoke free zone.
Flowers are not allowed in any patient area.
Please switch off your cell phones, pagers, beepers and other wireless equipment when in areas such as the CCU, MICU and SICU as these interfere with the sophisticated patient monitoring system. Please do not hand over payments to any unauthorized personnel. Only staff inside the IPD counter and the Bank can collect payments.
Note: The nurses or any other hospital staff will not be responsible for any loss of valuables during patient's stay in the hospital.
Bedding/ clothing
Bedding from outside is not permitted for the patients.
You will be provided with hospital clothing.
You may however bring your own slippers and toiletry. You are not permitted to wash your clothes in the hospital.
Passes
A visitor visiting outside visiting hours should have a 24-hour pass, which is issued only for private rooms.
For intensive care areas, daily passes are issued in the morning and evening.
For wards, visitor's passes are issued only during visiting hours.
Temporary passes are issued only in case of any emergency situation requiring the attendant's presence.

Visiting Hours
For in-patient rooms: Visitors are requested to collect the passes from the patient/attendant/IPD counter. The visiting hours for the wards are :
Morning : 10 am to 11 am
Evening : 5pm to 7 pm
For ICU/CCU/SICU/SPICU/MICU/HDU: There are special passes for these areas. Visitors can collect the appropriate passes from the patient/attendant/IPD counter. The timings for these special zones are:
