I want to know if My Insurance Company is empanelled at Fortis Hospital ?

I am a working person and I don’t have time to visit the hospital for fixing an appointment. Is there any facility wherein I can fix one in advance without having to visit the hospital?

I have been treated at Fortis once. If I visit again, will I need to register again?
At Fortis, the first time a patient comes for any service, whether OPD, IPD or any diagnostic service, he or she is registered and given a Unique Hospital Identification (UHID). It comes with a one-time charge of Rs. 50 and hence on the patient would be recognized by his/her UHID.

How many attendants can stay with the patient?
One attendant is allowed to be with the patient admitted in single and twin-sharing room.
What are the visiting hours and are kids allowed during that?
The visiting hours are:
- 10:00-11:00 am and 5:00-7:00 pm for wards/single/twin-sharing/ rooms.
- 11:00-11:20 am and 5:00-5:20 pm for Neuro- ICU
- 11:20-11:40 am and 5:20-5:40 pm for Medical-ICU
Children under the age of 12 years are not allowed in the patient area. This is a precautionary measure as children are more prone to catch infections.
Is there any place to eat?
The hospital provides you with a 24 hour cafeteria which offers you hygienic vegetarian food.
