I’m a 32-year- ‘ old woman, working as a researcher. I’ve noticed that my right leg seemsswollen and throbs a little. The problem worsens at night. I’ve got thyroid tests done but everything seems normal. Please advise - Tensed
Hi Tensed, don’t stress out. Since thyroid is not the condition bothering you, get the right test done. Since the swelling is only in one leg, go for a venous Doppler test to: check blood circulation and find out if there’s any blockage in the veins caused perhaps by a blood clot Also, while sleeping, rest your feet at a certain height. At work, avoid sitting in one position: for a long time and keep a foot- stool handy to prop your feet up.
