| Replantation of Amputated Limb |

An 18 year male patient had a traumatic right arm amputation due to machine injury, his right arm was imputed at level upper 2/3 & lower 1 / 3. A major surgical procedure Replantation of Amputed limb was performed by Dr. Manoj Johar (Plastic Surgery) & Dr. Punit Dilawari (Orthopedic) on the patient which last for six hours including Bony fixation – plates & Arterial anastomosis with vein grafts/ Venous Repair. Post. & Ant. Compartment muscle repaired, Nerves repaired, Loose skin closure done. Early post operative period was uneventful. Patient was discharge after 10days. |
