Guidelines for Preventive Health Check-up Procedure
The preventive health check-ups (PHC) are carried out at the PHC Lounge (Basement).
Please inform us of a convenient data for your visit through the preventive health check-up Lounge (ph: +91-11-42776222-Extn. 5840, Mobile: + 91- 9810600546).
On the day of appointment, kindly report to the PHC Lounge between 8.00am to 9.00 am.
Come on an empty stomach (not even a cup of tea). You should also postpone any routine morning medication, until our staff guides you to have it after certain tests. Complimentary breakfast would be served following the tests.
You will be guided through a series of tests under the supervision of our doctors. The tests are completed within 4-6 hours.
All executives must carry a reference letter from their office, duly authorizing the check up.
Please bring along your previous medical records if any.
Important Instructions
Please arrive at the PHC lounge situated in the basement at the appointment time.
Kindly be empty stomach with overnight (12 hours) fasting. Avoid alcohol and non-vegetarian food for dinner the previous night. Please do not consume anything except plain water (no tea, coffee, lime water etc). The fasting shall continue till the blood sample and ultrasound scan is complete.
Please wear comfortable clothes and footwear as you would be required to change into hospital clothes for investigations.
Kindly inform in advance if you are a diabetic, cardiac patient, pregnant or suffer from any other ailment. Please bring all your medical records such as prescriptions and reports on the day of check up.
Kindly inform in advance if you are on any medication. Please bring the dose of medication along on the day of check up.
Kindly stop all medications 12 hours prior to the check up.
Any blood pressure medicines (beta blocker) have to be stopped 48 hours prior.
Kindly consume 1 to 2 liters of water one hour prior to your appointment time. This shall ensure a full bladder for an ultrasound scan.
In case you use contact lenses, it is advised to discontinue the same 24 hours prior to the appointment date. Kindly bring the latest power number and the spectacles.
Kindly remove jewellery and avoid carrying valuables on the day of check up.
During pregnancy the investigations such as X-Ray, Bone densitometry and Mammography shall not be performed.
Refreshments shall be served after the fasting investigations are complete.
