A 25 member delegation from Nepal, led by Dr Gouri Shankar Laldas, former President, Nepal Association for Welfare of Blind that is being felicitated and looked after by the Mohali Senior Citizens Association, Mohali, visited Fortis Hospital on December 10.

The delegates were welcomed in the OPD by our ever enthusiastic front office girls with the traditional ‘tilak ceremony’. Dr Anita Sharma and Ms Shelly Mandhar briefed them about the hospital and its facilities after which they were taken on a tour of the hospital to showcase its state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities. Mr. A.P. Singh accompanied them on this round and briefed them on the latest technology and expertise available at Fortis. They were also shown the Memory Wall which reflected all the important landmark events since the inception of the hospital. The delegates were given a brief overview of the hospital via a presentation in the boardroom by Dr Sonu Malhotra. Concluding the session, Dr Gurbir Singh expressed his happiness on receiving this delegation from Nepal and looked forward to stronger ties with the people of Nepal.
