About Dr. S Suraj Subramaniam

Dr. Suraj is a Laparoscopic surgeon with 15 years experience. Dr. Suraj holds an IAGES recognized International Minimal Access Bariatric Surgery Fellowship from IRCAD, Taiwan and is passionate to run a dedicated Bariatric Centre at Fortis. He has successfully completed a lap sleeve gastroectomy on a 9 year obese patient with Prader Willi Syndrome. Besides General & Laparoscopic Surgeries, Dr. Suraj has completed CCrISP Course - certified by Royal College of Surgeons of England, making him a qualified Critical Care Surgical specialist. He is also a professional Tamil Literary Orator and has delivered many lectures on the language classics. He is fluent in English, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
