Dr. Suraj is skilled Laparoscopic surgeon with over 16 years of experience. Dr. Suraj holds an IAGES recognized International Minimal Access Bariatric Surgery Fellowship from IRCAD, Taiwan and is passionate to run a dedicated Bariatric Centre at Fortis. Besides General & Laparoscopic Surgeries, Dr. Suraj has completed CCrISP (Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient) Course - certified by Royal College of Surgeons of England, making him a qualified Critical Care Surgical specialist. He has successfully completed a lap sleeve gastroectomy on a 9 year obese patient with Prader Willi Syndrome. Dr. Suraj has seven Indexed Journal Surgical Publications and has participated as a teaching faculty in Laparoscopic Skills Workshop at the National Conference on Laparoscopic Simulation. He is also a professional Tamil Literary Orator and has delivered many lectures on the language classics. Dr. Suraj is also fluent in English, Telugu and Malayalam.
