Dr Sidharth Sahni graduated in medicine from The Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi in 1994. He qualified in surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 2000. He then moved to the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) in Milan, training with Prof. Umberto Veronesi, in order to obtain his certification in specialist training in breast surgery (2005-2006). Dr.Sahni is a certified tutor at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. He is the specialist breast surgeon to the American Embassy in New Delhi, The Russian Embassy, the Israealian Embassy, the Italian Embassy and The Australian High Commission. He is currently a Senior Consultant Breast Surgeon at Fortis Vasant Kunj New Delhi and Fortis Institute in Defence Colony. Having been part of various trials at an international level, Dr, Sahni is often invited to speak at both national and worldwide scientific conferences. He has authored several significant papers in reference to breast diseases. Dr Sahni has also recently been appointed onto the board of directors of the European and Asian Society for Mastology (EURAMA), holding the post of President South East Asia Region in the Governing Council.
