Dr Vidhi Shah is a consultant Breast & General Surgeon with more than 14 years of surgical experience. She has completed M.B.B.S. from the K. J. Somaiya Medical College & Research Centre, Mumbai in 2006. After working briefly as Operation Theatre Doctor in BSES MG Hospital Mumbai, she pursued her interest in field of general surgery and joined Diplomate National Board (D.N.B) General Surgery at the Mumbai Port Trust Hospital, Wadala, Mumbai in 2008.Post Completion of the D.N.B general Surgery she rejoined the same institution in 2011, as the medical officer in the dept of general surgery. She was actively involving in teaching DNB & CPS students at the institute. She continued for 8 years (also promoted to Senior Medical Officer) doing upto 50-60 surgeries per month independently, where she developed special interest in Breast Diseases and surgeries. To continue her interest & passion in the same field, In 2017, she pursued Fellowship in Breast Surgery , one year intensive training in the field of breast diseases and surgery, at the prestigious Asian Cancer Institute, Mumbai , followed by training at the Breast Services dept at the Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. She has presented in various regional, National & International Platforms, Including Faculty at the UAE Cancer Congress, Dubai. She is currently consultant breast surgeon with more than 5 years of experience of exclusive Breast diseases management (Benign & Malignant). She has a vast experience of Lumpectomy, Mastectomies, Breast Conserving surgeries, chemo port insertions with Breast Reconstructive options of breast Oncoplasty & Flaps surgeries.
