Treatments given:

  1. Cardiac Rehabilitation:
    A 6 -8 week rehabilitation programme, in which physiotherapists provide a service for patients who have suffered a heart attack (myocardial infarction), undergone angioplasty or bypass surgery. The exercise class involves using equipment such as, exercises bikes, treadmill and arm exerciser. The programme is designed for your individual needs. Educational sessions given by the physiotherapist include exercising safely and relaxation. The aim of treatment is to: help you understand your heart condition ,educate and support you to make lifestyle changes, encourage you to take regular exercise, reduce stress in your life, help restore your confidence

  2. Ortho Rehabilitation:
    Musculoskeletal: Assessment, education and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal disorders, in particular orthopedics and rheumatology. We provide treatment for back and neck pain, posture related muscle spasms, arthritis, rehabilitation after fractures, muscle strains, sports injuries, shoulder pain, posture correction ,post-operative rehabilitation e.g. knee replacement, hip replacement, ACL reconstruction and shoulder surgery. Back care programmes: treating back pain, educating people on how to look after their back and assessing people’s posture and home/work environment to see if equipment/adapted seating may be needed.

  3. Neuro Rehabilitation:
    The neurology outpatient service is available for persons with disorders of the nervous system e.g. stroke, multiple sclerosis, motor neuron disease, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injury, head injuries, myelopathies including Guillian Barre syndrome etc. Vestibular rehabilitation - Exercises to reduce Vertigo (dizziness due to ear problems).

  4. Pediatric Physiotherapy :
    Specialist physiotherapists treat a number of pediatric conditions including; developmental problems, cerebral palsy and children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis to improve muscle strength, joint range, walking ability and all other functional activities appropriate for the child’s age.

  5. Pulmonary Rehabilitation :
    Patients with chronic lung disease we provide a multidisciplinary exercise and education programme aimed at improving their quality of life, exercise tolerance and lung function.

  6. Women Wellness :
    Dedicated skilled female physiotherapists, to cater to the needs of today’s women in the field of health and fitness.

    Customized antenatal “Lamaze Classes” for the expecting mothers to lead through a healthy pregnancy and an easy labor. Also, special “Couple Lamaze” for both the parents to be, where, daddy’s to be are taught about breathing exercises which they can use to encourage their better halves during the period of labor.

    Post Natal sessions for the newly attained motherhood moms to get back to their old fit self. Posture correction advice post pregnancy during feeding as a part of back care.

    Post Natal fitness sessions post 2 months of pregnancy, to help the new mothers to get back to shape and lead a healthy and a fit lifestyle.

  7. Pelvic Floor Dysfunction :
    Retraining of pelvic musculature is available for men/women with urinary/fecal incontinence and/or pelvic organ prolapse. Treatment focuses on Kegels’ exercises, strengthening and toning of the pelvic floor muscles.

  8. Medically Supervised Weight Loss Program :
    Our goal is to help you lose the weight, but also to promote lifelong healthy and positive changes that fit your needs. We take a mind-body, positive health approach in guiding you to better health. Health and wellness coaching is central to our approach. This is one of the reasons that our clients have such positive experiences and high success rates. Our weight loss programs use the most effective protocols to get real results. We understand the different roles of nutrition, fitness, hormones, and supplements.

  9. Care of the Elderly :
    As we become older there is a tendency to lose muscle strength, mobility and balance. The effects of osteoporosis can also cause problems within the spine and of certain joints. Physiotherapists are trained in creating programmes which will help to improve your strength, mobility and balance. As a result you will be less at risk of falling.

  10. Ergonomic Assessment :
    Our Physiotherapists can visit your office, assess workplace ergonomics - the position of desks, chairs, computer stations - and advise on best practice for postural care. We explain how simple alterations can help prevent back, neck and repetitive strain problems.

  11. Home Care Physiotherapy :
    Our home visiting Physiotherapy services specialise in aged care and those with disabilities or complex health needs living in the community. We cater for those people who cannot, or find it difficult to attend a physiotherapy practice due to their condition or social situation, or when it is more appropriate to see them at home.
