Dr Sunil Kumar, having more than 9 years of experience, is a Transplant Surgeon at Fortis Mohali.

Prior to this, he worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Transplant Surgery, PGI Chandigarh, for 2 years. During this period he was in-charge of the pancreas transplant program and was involved in successful pancreas transplants. He also played a vital role in establishment of deceased donor (cadaver transplant) program in PGI Chandigarh.

Dr Sunil did a Fellowship in multi-organ (Pancreas, bowel, liver and kidneys) transplant from Oxford Transplant Center, Oxford (UK) in 2014.

Worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Transplant Surgery, PGI Chandigarh for 2 years. During this period he was in-charge of the pancreas transplant program and was involved in successful pancreas transplants. He also played a vital role in establishment of deceased donor (cadaver transplant) program in PGI Chandigarh.
