  • Selection of candidates will be based on the order of merit as per the criteria prescribed by the competent authority.
  • Have attained/shall attain the age of 17 years on/before 31st December of the year for admission. Age limit for admission is restricted to 35 years.
  • Have passed 12th standard (10+2) Higher secondary school certificate examination of Maharashtra state board or any other examination recognized as equivalent examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) & English.
  • Have obtained not less than 45% of aggregate marks at the qualifying examination in physics, chemistry, biology & English.


  • Have passed General Nursing &Midwifery (GNM/ RGNM) program from a recognized institute.
  • The candidate should be registered nurse and a registered midwife from MNC or eligible to be registered in Maharashtra Nursing Council.
  • It is mandatory to have English as a subject in 12th standard.
  • Preference will be given to :
    • Candidates who have 1 or 2 years of clinical experience after passing the GNM/RGNM program.
    • Candidates who have passed 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology
    • GNM/RGNM merit
    • Age limit: 40 years for open category, 45 years for reserved category.
    • Those candidates, who have passed 11th standard (10+1) in or before 1986, are also eligible. Passing of English subject in 11th standard is mandatory.


  • Candidate belonging to the constitutional reservation category will be considered as per the norms prescribed by the competent authority.
  • A medical certificate by competent authority must be submitted at the time of admission.
  • NRI candidates must produce a certificate for having inoculated against chicken pox, Japanese encephalitis & hepatitis as per AIU.
  • The college Management reserves the right for selection of candidates. The decision in this regard will be final binding.
  • Admission will be provisional till MUHS grants eligibility.
  • MH-CET is mandatory for Basic B. Sc. Nursing courses as per Government Resolution.
