Dr. Mangesh P Kamath graduated from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Medical College in Bangalore and has completed his DNB, Internal Medicine at The Bangalore Hospital, under the National Board of Examination, New Delhi. He underwent his super-specialty training in Medical Oncology, Hemato-oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplantation from the Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore. He is MRCP certified in Medical Oncology from the Royal College of Physicians and has also completed European Certification in Medical Oncology (ECMO-Medical Oncology). Dr. Mangesh has medical experience of more than 12 years in Oncology practicing at prestigious organizations like Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology and other private hospitals in Bangalore. He joined Fortis Hospital, Bannerghatta Road as a senior consultant Medical Oncologist, Hemato-Oncologist, and BMT Physician. He has conducted more than 50 Autologous Bone Marrow Transplants and 120 Allogeneic Stem cell Transplants. He has performed autologous Bone Marrow transplantation for rare clinical indications like Relapsed Lymphoma in Jehovah’s Witness patients and also autologous stem cell transplantation for treatment-refractory relapsing Multiple Sclerosis Patients. Work Experience Dr. Mangesh has over 12 years of experience in the field of Oncology and Hematology with core interests in Cancer Research, Cancer prevention, Cancer genetics and molecular oncology, Immunotherapy, Targeted therapy, Geriatric Oncology and Stem cell transplantation and CAR-T therapies Honors & Awards Dr. Mangesh has several internationally peer-reviewed publications in indexed journals and has won awards in National Conferences for his clinical studies involving molecular oncology and pharmaco-economics. He is a frequent and active faculty in state and national Oncology-Hematology conference. He regularly organizes Medical Oncology, Hemato-oncology multidisciplinary tumor board meetings attended by oncologists, Pathologists, Radiologists, and Post-graduate students.
