Doctors at Fortis Anandapur have accomplished a remarkable feat by conducting100 robotic surgeries within just 100 days of the Da Vinchi X Robotic Surgical System’s introduction at the hospital. The significant milestone was a result of the dedicated efforts of Dr Udipta Ray, Director - GI, General and Robotic Surgery, Dr Ramesh Agarwalla, Director- GI, Minimal Access & Bariatric Surgery, Dr Shrinivas Narayan, Director – Urology, Dr R. K. Gopala Krishna, Director - Urology, Dr Sandip Ray, Consultant - General Surgery and Dr Sujata Datta, Consultant - Gynaecology.

The achievement was celebrated on February 29, 2024, with a cake-cutting ceremony in the presence of Ms. Richa Singh Debgupta, Chief of Strategy and Operations (CJK), Mr. Ashish Mukherjee, Facility Director, and other senior clinicians and leaders.
