About
With over 30 years of clinical expertise, Dr. Abhay Bhave is a Consultant in Medical Oncology, Haemato-Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplantation at S L Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mumbai. He completed his M.B.B.S and M.D. at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and underwent advanced training in haematology at Christian Medical College, Vellore. His experience includes working at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital in Oman and Westmead Hospital in Sydney, Australia, as well as coordinating blood supplies, blood safety, and blood transfusion services for New South Wales at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service. Dr. Bhave has published over 40 articles in national and international journals, contributed to national guidelines on Myelodysplastic Syndrome, Deep Venous Thrombosis, and newer anticoagulants, and received the Ekta Manch Award for community service. He also organizes Anaemia and Thalassemia detection camps, delivers educational lectures on blood donation and cancer awareness, serves as a lecturer at prominent medical institutions, and brings extensive expertise in haemato-oncology and bone marrow transplantation to provide world-class care.
