With over 10 years of experience in orthopaedics, Dr. Anoop C. Dhamangaonkar serves as a Consultant Joint Replacement and Orthopaedic Surgeon at S.L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mahim, Mumbai. He completed his MBBS from Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital and subsequently earned MS Orthopaedics, DNB Orthopaedics, Diploma in Orthopaedics, and FCPS Orthopaedics from LTMMC & GH, Sion Hospital. He further advanced his training through fellowships in joint replacement surgery at institutions in Liverpool (UK), Hamburg (Germany), and Seoul (South Korea). Dr. Dhamangaonkar specializes in primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgeries and has extensive experience in pelvi-acetabular trauma, spinal decompression, spine fusions, and complex fracture management. He has authored more than 35 publications in peer-reviewed international journals and serves as Editor of the Arthroplasty Section of the Indian Journal of Orthopaedics. In addition to his clinical work, he has held academic positions and is recognized by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) as a postgraduate and undergraduate teacher.
