Practising since 1988, Dr. Sanjay Vaidya is a diabetic foot surgeon associated with S.L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mahim, Mumbai. His practice focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, and surgical management of diabetic foot and lower limb complications, including diabetic ulcers, Charcot foot deformities, neuropathy-related conditions, and limb salvage procedures. He has performed a broad spectrum of surgeries ranging from wound debridement to advanced reconstructive operations, using technologies such as lasers, hydrosurgery systems, and modern wound care techniques. Dr. Vaidya is a professor for the Fellowship in Diabetic Foot Surgery under MUHS and serves as the Executive Committee Member and Treasurer of the Diabetic Foot Society of India. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Laser Medicine from Russia, supporting his expertise in laser-based wound healing modalities. Through his long-standing clinical practice and contributions to education and professional societies, he continues to contribute to the advancement of diabetic foot care in India.
