Dr. Akshay Shah

Bringing over 15 years of clinical experience, Dr. Akshay Shah serves as a Consultant in Medical Oncology, Haemato-Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplants at S.L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mahim, Mumbai. He specializes in the management of solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, and general hematology. Dr. Shah holds a DNB in Medical Oncology and Hematology and completed a fellowship in Stem Cell Transplant at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and the University of Washington Medical College, where he received advanced training in stem cell and bone marrow transplant procedures. His procedural experience includes stem cell infusions and bone marrow harvests. Dr. Shah regularly participates in national and international conferences and workshops to remain updated with advances in oncology and hematology, including the International Leukemia Conference, Annual Haematology Conference, and Bone Marrow Transplant Conferences. He follows a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to patient care in oncology.
