Dr Ashish Jain is Additional Director - Critical Care at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Amritsar. He is MD (Anaes) from CMC, Ludhiana and EDIC (European Diploma Intensive Care) from ESICM , Brussels. Along With the experience of 20 years in managing all type of critically ill patients emergencies and poisonings, he has expertise of ECMO, bed side ultrasonography for critical patients, managing difficult to ventilate patients like ARDS and advanced COPD. He also has special interests in infection control policies. He is a FCCS instructor and certified teacher in critical care medicine since 2016 and coordinates academics in critical care at FEHA. He has been American Heart Association certified BLS and ACLS instructor and has been imparting CPR skills not only in hospital but also at community level with various activities. He is a member of various policy making committees of the hospital. Along with all ICU related procedures,he is expert in percutaneous tracheostomies, difficult Dialysis catheter insertions and PICC line insertion (for Chemotherapy).
