Dr. Bhupinderjit Waraich

Dr B K Waraich (who also writes as Dr Simmi Waraich in newspaper articles) has been an integral part of Fortis Hospital, Mohali, for over 20 years. She completed her MD in Psychiatry at Government Medical College, Patiala, and subsequently worked at Government Medical College, Sector 32, Chandigarh. Dr Waraich further expanded her expertise with a clinical stint at Base Hospital in Toowoomba, Australia, before joining Fortis Mohali. A passionate advocate for mental health awareness, Dr Waraich regularly contributes articles to leading newspapers, aiming to dispel myths and reduce stigma around psychiatric disorders.
