Dr. Garud Chandan is a Director and Senior Consultant in Critical Care Medicine with over 23 years of international clinical and academic leadership across India and the UK. Renowned for his expertise in complex critical care, Dr. Chandan specializes in the management of severe Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) and comprehensive peri-operative care for organ transplant recipients.
A pioneer in medical education and clinical governance, Dr. Chandan established the “academic activity” for the accredited IDCCM and DrNB Critical Care Training Programs at Fortis Hospital, Bannerghatta Road. His contributions to healthcare infrastructure include authoring standardized ICU guidelines and pioneering 24/7 Critical Care Outreach Services in both the UK and India.
Dr. Chandan serves as a recognized faculty member for ISCCM and DrNB, regularly training advanced life support providers and presenting at international conferences.
