Dr. Gayana S

Dr. Gayana S has won Academic excellence award twice for securing highest marks in the Subject of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics from Government Medical College, Mysore, Karnataka. She has won a silver medal for being academic topper in MD, Nuclear Medicine. She has been ranked for the best paper presentation in “Role of18F-Fluoride PET/CT in the diagnosis of Avascular necrosis of femoral head" at SNM annual meeting 2012, held at Miami, Florida, USA and also in “18F-Fluoride PET-CT in the prognostication of avascular necrosis of the femoral head following core decompression - a prospective pilot study" at EANM congress 2012, held at Milan, Italy. She is also one of the few to be accorded travel grant by Nuclear Medicine society and ICMR, India. Being bright in academics throughout, she has many national and international presentations, research publications in national and internal peer-reviewed journals, medals and awards to her credit. She is also a reviewer for Indian Journal of Nuclear Medicine (IJNM).
