Dr. Hrishikesh Salgaonkar is a Bariatric and Laparoscopic Surgeon with over 14 years of experience, having received extensive training in India, Singapore, and the United Kingdom. He has a special interest in bariatric (obesity and weight loss) and metabolic surgery, as well as oesophageal motility disorders, acid reflux disease, and abdominal wall hernia repairs. Over the course of his career, he has trained and worked alongside leading laparoscopic, bariatric, robotic, and minimally invasive surgeons both in India and internationally. He underwent advanced laparoscopic training for over two years at the National University Hospital, Singapore, a Centre of Excellence for Bariatric and Hernia Surgery. He further gained over five years of clinical experience in the United Kingdom, with a dedicated focus on obesity and weight loss surgery, including specialized training at the prestigious King’s College Hospital, London. He has also completed a Royal College of Surgeons (England) accredited fellowship in Bariatric and Upper GI Surgery. Dr. Salgaonkar offers a comprehensive range of weight loss and metabolic surgical procedures, including laparoscopic gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, SADI-S (duodenal switch), one-anastomosis gastric bypass, and gastric band removal.
