Dr. Jayanth H is a Consultant – Gastrointestinal Surgery at Fortis Hospital, Bannerghatta Road, Bengaluru, with specialised expertise in Surgical Gastroenterology, minimally invasive surgery and robotic GI surgery. He has completed his DrNB in Surgical Gastroenterology from GEM Hospital & Research Centre, Coimbatore, where he received advanced training in minimally invasive gastrointestinal procedures, including complex laparoscopic surgeries. He also completed a Vattikuti Robotic Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Narayana Health, Bengaluru, gaining experience in more than 150 robotic procedures and performing over 40 procedures, including major GI oncology surgeries. His areas of interest include minimally invasive GI surgery, GI oncology and hernia surgery, with a focus on advanced surgical techniques, precision and patient-centred care.
