Dr. Karan Shetty

Dr. Karan Shetty is a dedicated orthopedic surgeon with extensive expertise in arthroplasty and trauma management. With a strong academic foundation and a keen interest in clinical research, he has performed over 1000 total knee replacements and 400 total hip replacements, including complex primary and revision procedures and 1500 Minimally Invasive surgeries including Arthroscopy. His proficiency extends to deformity correction, arthroscopy, and spine surgeries, making him a versatile specialist in the field of orthopedics. WORK EXPERIENCE: He has accumulated significant teaching experience, served as an Assistant Professor at BIRRD (T) Hospital, Tirupati, and later at Sapthagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre. His research contributions include multiple peer-reviewed publications on topics ranging from total hip arthroplasty techniques to innovative solutions for nonunion fractures.
