Dr. LILADHAR CHANDAN

Dr. L.R. Chandan is a Senior General and Laparoscopic Consultant Surgeon at Fortis Hospital, Mulund, with decades of extensive surgical experience. During his postgraduate training, he gained exposure under eminent surgeons across multiple subspecialties, including pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, and trauma care. He began his private practice in 1975 as the first Resident Surgeon of Mulund at Prasad Surgical Children Nursing Home. Over the years, he has played a pivotal role in mentoring and creating opportunities for more than 40 consultants who are now well-established in their respective fields. Dr. Chandan has performed a wide range of elective and emergency general surgeries from head to toe, with a cumulative experience of over 18,000 procedures. He has also successfully carried out more than 1,000 surgeries at Fortis Hospital, Mulund. An active participant in the medical community, he has attended numerous international, national, and state-level conferences and seminars, and has had the honour of chairing several of them.
