Dr. Mahesh Choudhary

Bringing over four decades of experience in neurosurgery, Dr. Mahesh Chaudhari serves as a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon at S.L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mahim, Mumbai. Throughout his career, he has been associated with several leading hospitals in Mumbai and has also practiced in Japan. Dr. Chaudhari has contributed extensively to academic neurosurgery as a Professor of M.Ch. Neurosurgery at the University of Mumbai. He is experienced in performing complex brain and cranial nerve surgeries using advanced microsurgical and endoscopic techniques. His areas of clinical expertise include the management of skull base tumors, brain aneurysms, AVMs, pituitary tumors, and cranial nerve neuralgias. He has a particular interest in preserving neurological function during surgery, including facial nerve function and hearing in acoustic neuroma cases.
