Dr. Narender Paul

Dr. Narender Paul is an experienced General, Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeon with over 20 years of clinical experience in advanced surgical care, trauma management, minimally invasive procedures, and healthcare quality management. He is currently working as Senior Consultant – General & Laparoscopic Surgery and Quality Head at NHS Hospital, Jalandhar. His areas of expertise include advanced laparoscopic surgery, robotic-assisted surgery, laser proctology, colorectal procedures, and minimally invasive surgical techniques. He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Patiala and served as a Medical Officer (Major) in the Indian Army Medical Corps for 5 years, gaining extensive experience in emergency care and management of complex trauma patients. He completed his MS (General Surgery) from Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana, followed by Senior Residency and advanced surgical training. Dr. Paul has undergone specialized training including Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS), Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery (DipMAS) from AMASI, Fellowship of Association of Colon & Rectal Surgeons of India (FACRSI), Laser Proctology training from Surat and CEMAST Mumbai and Minimally Invasive Venous procedure training from Fortis Mohali. He has worked at leading healthcare institutions including DMC&H Ludhiana & ESIC Model Hospital Ludhiana providing comprehensive surgical care with special focus on laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgical procedures. Along with his clinical expertise, Dr. Paul has significant experience in hospital quality improvement, NABH accreditation, clinical audits, and patient safety initiatives. He is a certified NABH Assessor and actively participates in NABH and QCI assessments. He is also pursuing the Executive Programme in Healthcare Management from IIM Indore.
