Dr. Neepa Vellimuttam

With over 13 years of experience, Dr. Neepa Vellimuttam is a Consultant ENT and Endoscopic Skullbase Surgeon associated with S.L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mahim, Mumbai. She completed her postgraduate training in ENT at Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences, Mumbai, followed by a fellowship in Endoscopic Sinus and Skullbase Surgery. She is also a certified Cochlear Implant Surgeon. Her surgical expertise includes tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, myringotomy, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, FESS, septoplasty, rhinoplasty, and benign head and neck surgeries such as thyroidectomy, parotidectomy, and excision of submandibular glands and thyroglossal cysts. Dr. Vellimuttam has a special interest in laryngology and the treatment of voice disorders, performing procedures including microlaryngoscopy and excision of vocal cord lesions. She also routinely manages skullbase surgeries such as endoscopic repair of CSF rhinorrhea, pituitary tumor access, and excision of mucoceles, while treating paediatric ENT conditions including subglottic stenosis, laryngomalacia, and congenital choanal atresia. She has presented papers at national and international conferences, received multiple awards, and contributed to medical literature through journal publications.
